Hold Fast started in November of 2003 with a lineup that included Matt Jackson on bass, Chris on guitar, Nick on vocals and Tony Norris on drums. A month later the Hold Fast / The Contender split was recorded and released on Teishu Records followed by a midwest tour summer of 2004. January of 2005 HF recorded a 5 song No Words Left 7" released on Stray Dog Records. Along with the NWL 7" came a spring break south east tour and an 2 week east coast tour in August of '05. After a couple lineup changes, Reed Deangelis replaced Tony (who left to focus his attention on Still Here Clothing) on drums, Matt moved to rhythm guitar and Jake Ballesteros (formerly of The Contender) joined the band on bass. Now in 2006 Hold Fast is set to record their first LP on 1981 Records in june and spend most of the year on the road and playing a city near you.
